One of the best places you can visit in Broken Bow, Oklahoma is the Beavers Bend State Park.
 
Beavers Bend State Park is located in the mountainous region of southeast Oklahoma along the shores of Broken Bow Lake and the Mountain Fork River. It is one of the most visited state parks in all of Oklahoma.
 
Visitors who come here will be able to travel down winding roads through lush green forests of pine and hardwood trees, and be able to find some of the most majestic scenic views along with plenty of things to see and do.
 
For instance, some of the things visitors will be able to enjoy are things like hiking, biking, boating, fishing, water skiing, nature center activities, river float trips, canoeing, horseback riding and much more. Plus the streams along the area are stocked year-round with some of the best trout fishes you can imagine. The park even features two catch-and-release trophy areas.
 
Plus the area is also home to a variety of different wildlife living in the area. For example, some of the animals you’ll see here include things like deer, raccoon, squirrel, fox, opossum, armadillo, small brown bear, cougar or mountain lion. Or if you like birds, then you’ll be happy to know that the state of Oklahoma is one of the Top 10 states in the country for Bald Eagle viewing during the November through March season.
